Company Profile

Transcabo MI- Los Cabos DMC opened its doors in 1997 with the vision of setting the standard for first class group services and transportation in the Mexican resort region of Los Cabos, Baja California.  As the company quickly evolved into a high-quality Destination Management Company, it soon launched its own meetings and incentives division, Transcabo Meetings & Incentives (TMI), providing top VIP, group, meeting and incentive services.

TMI specializes in unique incentive and corporate events, providing only the highest quality service. All TMI staff is bilingual, experienced, professional, and highly respected by Los Cabos area hotels, restaurants, activity vendors.  TMI’s transportation division is proud to own and operate the largest most up to date fleet of over 40 of the latest model, air conditioned vehicles. 

TMI provides solutions to North American clients via the Meetings and Incentives Sales Office in Minneapolis, MN. which helps clients with program planning questions and solutions for groups to Los Cabos.

Each TMI account manager is knowledgeable and professional and is the client’s primary contact from the planning stages and on-site operation of each program.

TMI Hospitality Desk staffing is always professional, courteous and well versed in program functions as well as the wide array of area activities and options.

Transcabo’s highly trained Operations staff smoothly dispatches and receives all group and individual transfers to hotel activities and functions, advancing all off-property dinners, events and activities.

TMI management staff oversees all program planning as well as operations and remain available to the client throughout every program.

Transportation

TMI, through its sister company Transcabo, is proud to own and operate the most up to date transportation fleet with the latest model Escalades, Suburbans, extended Vans as well as full-size Motor Coaches.  Transportation services are handled smoothly and professionally by our coordinated staff to ensure efficient, worry-free movements for groups of all sizes.  All transfers are dispatched by bilingual staff using the latest in communication. All drivers are experienced, commercially-licensed and professional trained.  TMI staff is accustomed to handling last-minute changes and have the flexibility necessary to accommodate attendees and VIPs while always maintaining safety and comfort as the highest priority.

World-Class Golf

Golf and Los Cabos are virtually synonymous. A recent study listing the top 50 worldwide golf destinations ranked Los Cabos number 14. Golfers are offered many beautiful and challenging courses with amazing views of an intriguing combination of desert and ocean. All the championship courses are located within the Tourist Corridor, with three Jack Nicklaus  signature golf courses and others designed by Robert Trent Jones II, the Dye Corporation, Tom Weiskopf and Tom Fazio.  Los Cabos has been the site of the PGA Grand Slam tournament since 1996, attracting golf greats such as Raymond Floyd, Dave Stockman and Hale Irwin.

Fishing

Before the lavish 5-star resort developments and world-class golf courses were built, Cabo San Lucas was well known as one of the top destinations in the world for big game fishing.  Los Cabos is recognized as the “Marlin Capital of the World” and deservedly so as there are more marlin caught here than any other place on earth.  Unlike other well known fishing destinations, where many days and many dollars can be spent in pursuit of this most prized sport fish, it is not unusual to capture one or even more on your very first trip, whether you are a beginner or an expert.  Not only will you experience the thrill of battling a creature of incredible beauty and size, or perhaps landing smaller species and eating them, your fishing excursion will also give you an opportunity to view the Cape and its landmarks from a unique perspective unseen from land.  As an added bonus, the fishing excursion often allows you to get a close up look at whales, dolphins and seals.
