The former Boscolo Budapest Hotel is now the New York Palace Budapest a member of The Dedica Anthology, an upscale Italian hotel brand. The hotel welcomes guests with unique combination of historic grandeur and contemporary comfort. W Hotel Budapest is due to open 2020 in the heart of the city at Andrássy Avenue, also known as Budapest’s Champs-Elysees. Housed in the remarkable Drechsler Palace, this 5-star property will be completely remodeled to incorporate the brand’s contemporary design and will feature 162 stylish guest rooms and suites.

Onyx is the second restaurant in Budapest to receive the prestigious Michelin Star recognition from Michelin Guide. Onyx’s Executive Chef, Szabina Szullo, is the first Hungarian chef to receive the award. The Hungarian owned restaurant prides itself in its “home grown” staff and sourcing its ingredients and wine selections from within Hungary.

The Museum of Fine Arts, first opened in 1906 and heavily damaged during World War II, will reopen after years of reconstruction on October 31, 2018. This stunning building in Heroes’ Square will provide Budapest with a beautiful new venue. The museum’s collection is made up of international art, including all periods of European art and comprises more than 100,000 pieces.

Hollywood Studios in Hungary? Korda Studios, named after Sir Alexander Korda, a Hungarian-born British film producer and director, is located 18 miles northwest of Budapest in the wine-making village of Etyek. Guests can tour the studios, host events and even experience their own movie shoot.
